Ear acupuncture can help with stress, trauma, anxiety and the feeling of struggling emotionally.
Our Group Ear Acupuncture sessions use the NADA Protocol, which is a non verbal approach to healing. NADA involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. Participants sit quietly in a chair in a group setting for 30-45 minutes allowing the treatment to take effect. There is no need to share the reason for participating in the sessions and silence will be encouraged. During the session quiet music will be played to enhance relaxation.
NADA ear acupuncture is an adjunct therapy which is clinically effective, cost-efficient, drug-free and compatible cross-culturally. The combined application of acupuncture with other therapies such as psychology, naturopathic care, counselling, education, medical support enhances opportunities for success.
We have group ear acupuncture sessions twice a week on Tuesday and Friday morning 11am – 11.45am. A course of treatment would normally be 5-6 sessions. The maximum number of participants we have in each session is 10.
Prior to attending a session, participants will be required to complete a consent form.
Our Group Ear Acupuncture sessions are facilitated by Elena Williams.
